Hello everyone! Welcome to the first in a series of development logs which will be written often to give an update on the progress of the game when there is something to share.
With the use of online tutorials such as those off of YouTube, I am learning the different ways in which the tools Unreal Engine 5 offers can be used to create my game.
Currently, I am undergoing research and testing a bunch of features that I would like to have in the game such as lines of sight and AI sensing behaviours. These are being tested in separate UE5 projects created for the purpose of seeing whether they are applicable for the project/how I would like to implement them therefore I have not included any images of them here, but future posts are likely to have some.
I have also created a main project which I will be using to develop the main builds of the game as I create and implement features which should be included such as AI sensing which was mentioned previously.
Unfortunately there isn't much to update you on as of now, as right now I am just testing things out. However, as development progresses and there is more to be talked about, I will create another one of these posts which will include pictures, gifs and short clips with updated features down the line.
